Economic sanctions harm children

Health professionals are aware of the devastating effect of armed conflict on child health. Less well recognised is the devastating effect of economic sanctions of countries on child health. An Editorial in BMJ Paediatrics Open calls for the ending of such sanctions as thy affect the most vulnerable. We value the thoughts of CHIFA members on this suggestion.
