Collaborate with HIFA to advance your mission and achieve your goals
Join HIFA
More than 20,000 global health professionals and 400 supporting organisations worldwide (including the World Health Organization) collaborate with HIFA to build a world where every person has access to the healthcare information they need to protect their own health and the health of others. We interact 24/7 on six global health discussion forums in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. Join HIFA
Propose a HIFA Project
HIFA Projects uniquely mobilise the 20,000 members of the HIFA community and 400+ supporting organisations to explore relevant topics in depth through multistakeholder discussion. Current Projects (2024) include:
- Mental health: meeting information needs for substance use disorders (Sponsor: NextGenU.org);
- Informal use of mobile phones by health workers (Sponsor: Research Council of Norway); and
- How can decision-making processes for health systems strengthening and universal health coverage be made more inclusive, responsive and accountable? (Sponsor: Research Council of Norway).
We invite you to propose and support a new HIFA Project, and thereby advance your mission (and support the HIFA community at the same time). HIFA Projects are tried and tested, and highly cost-effective (£2k upwards). We are also open to develop joint proposals for external funders. [Learn more about HIFA Projects]
Partner with HIFA and WHO
HIFA is working with WHO in official relations since 2022. Our work is guided by an official 3-year Collaboration Plan. HIFA is responsible for securing financial and in-kind support needed to implement this Plan. We invite expressions of interest to partner with us.
