Enock Musungwini's second award for the HIFA Country Representative of the Year Award underscores his dedicated efforts in promoting HIFA's mission.
It also marks the first time the award has been presented for a two-year period, reflecting the evolving recognition of his sustained contributions over time. Throughout 2023 and 2024, he actively participated in HIFA forums, engaging in discussions and contributing valuable insights. Enock demonstrated exceptional leadership as part of the HIFA Working Group on Alcohol Use Disorders, leveraging his network to encourage participation from key stakeholders – including WHO Zimbabwe and various NGOs. His strategic use of social media on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter effectively raised awareness of HIFA's activities, particularly highlighting the Alcohol Use Disorders working group with posts that garnered significant engagement. Enock also integrated his role as HIFA Country Representative into professional presentations at prominent conferences, encouraging professionals to join HIFA and expanding its reach. His authored articles in Health Times further amplified HIFA's initiatives, reaching stakeholders in Zimbabwe's health sector and promoting the importance of health information access. In March 2024 Enock was appointed global coordinator for HIFA Supporting Organisations:

HIFA profile: Tomislav Mestrovic is a medical doctor and a clinical microbiologist with a PhD in biomedical sciences, and an Assistant Professor at Croatia's youngest public university, University North. He is also passionately invested in global health communication, health literacy, science journalism and science diplomacy. Tomislav was appointed by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia as a Managing Committee Member to COST Action on evidence-based medicine run by the European Union. He holds several positions in international societies that resulted in many volunteering initiatives.
