The Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN) is a Regional NGO working in eleven countries in Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) region. The countries are: Botswana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
RATN is a network of twenty nine Member Institutions (MIs) established in 1997 to facilitate the strengthening of capacity and skills for effective HIV response in the region.
RATN works to strengthen the capacity of relevant individual, organizations and other stakeholders to respond to STIs/HIV/AIDS in Eastern and Southern Africa region. It functions as a catalyst for facilitating the development of Technical and Management skills and capacities for implementing effective HIV and AIDS interventions in ESA region.
