Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (NiMSA)

NIMSA is the umbrella body of over 60,000 medical students in the 38 medical schools in Nigeria. NiMSA is affiliated to the International Federation of Medical Students’ Association(IFMSA) and is the student arm of Nigerian Medical Association(NMA). NiMSA is a non-governmental organisation, the only official representative body of all the medical students studying in recognized Nigerian medical schools irrespective of nationalities. We ensure that the voice of the Nigerian medical students is heard in policy formation. We expose our members to clinical and research exchange at national, regional and international levels. We equally train and empower medical students with leadership, advocacy and lobbying skills required in the very demanding world of today through conferences, trainings, workshops both locally and internationally.
