Karishma Krishna Kurup is a trained medical doctor with a keen interest in Public Health. She completed her MBBS in Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur, DPH in Government medical college, Trivandrum and MPH in ICMR-National Institute of Epidemiology. Over the last 6 years, she has worked in disease outbreaks, health emergency, infectious diseases surveillance and management of health systems in various positions of increasing responsibility across Indian and International organisations. Previously she was working as Medical Coordinator Support at Medecin Sans Frontiers OCBA, Delhi . Presently working as Public Health Specialist under the Epidemic Intelligence Service Program (CDC) with National Centre for Disease Control, Delhi, India.
