Solve MIT: How can we use technology to make good health and quality care more accessible for all?

5 February, 2025

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has opened a call for proposals

https://solve.mit.edu/challenges/2025-global-health-challenge?tab=faq

'Solve seeks innovative, human-centered, tech-based solutions to our Global Challenges. Through open innovation, Solve is looking for a diverse portfolio of solutions across geography, development stage, and team members’ gender and background. We encourage people of all backgrounds to submit applications.'

'We define technology broadly as the application of science and evidence-based knowledge to the practical aims of human life.'

I invite you to have a look and see if your organisation could apply. HIFA stands ready to be a partner in any proposal that would benefit from an integrated thematic discussion on the HIFA forums.

Also, HIFA would be interested to partner in any initiative that seeks to better describe the barriers and drivers in the global evidence ecosystem. We don't have the capacity to do this alone but could provide technical support in collaboration with others. Again, engagement of the HIFA membership through thematic discussions would add value.

Many thanks, Neil
