On the resilience of health systems: A methodological exploration across countries in the WHO African Region (2)

healthcare resilience depends upon factors far from healthcare!

This book contains a narrative that shows how reforms across structures of community and employment can both alleviate pressure on healthcare systems and social systems, while building community, creating employment and reducing taxes.

It's like teaching little kids to play soccer. Basically kids start by running after the ball all the time; everybody runs after the ball. however the only way to score is to have a strategy where at least some of the players get us far away from the ball as they possibly can. They receive a pass and then they score!

For example, here is a monograph that describes development of a resilience model;

By its nature, the model creates resiliency in healthcare systems because it shapes demand of Health system used by developing resiliency at the levels of community, employment and tax reform.

It's not possible for healthcare systems to develop resilience in isolation from all other systems because they are all intimately interconnected.
