Re: Do all hospitals have a medical librarian?

18 May, 2019

Dear Caroline

Thank you for raising this important component of qualitative health care delivery. To the best of my knowledge I have not yet come across any hospital in Cameroon that runs a medical library. Neither have I heard about them from friends in other developing countries. May be they are but I think the idea of a hospital library is still novel and would sound like innovation if medical librarians should be employed by the health services. I think implementing such would first require that opinions be sampled to adopt the best methods to employ in order to setup such a facility in health services.
