I'd like to share a quote from Keith Martin, executive director, CUGH, speaking at the annual meeting of the CUGH, which concluded a few days ago in Washington DC:
“What gives me hope is the fact that people are willing to come together. They’re willing to convene, they’re willing to put their best foot forward. They’re willing to take their knowledge, capabilities, passions, and desires to be able to improve the health of people and the health of our planet.”

COMMENT (NPW): Keith Martin refers particularly to the 4-day physical conference. I would add that communities of practice like HIFA provide the potential to bring people together 24/7, 365 days of the year. Virtual communities like HIFA cannot replace in-person meetings. But we can synergise with in-person meetings, and with webinar events. We have substantial experience and we are open to collaborate. If you are planning an in-person or virtual event later this year, especially if your scope relates to knowledge translation on any aspect of health policy or practice, please contact me to discuss possibilities: neil@hifa.org
Many thanks, Neil
