New NIHR thematic funding call - Climate change & health in LMICs - seeking applicants and committee members

Dear HIFA members,

We have just opened a new thematic funding call under our Research and Innovation for Global Health Transformation (RIGHT) programme, and are also looking for researchers, practitioners and community engagement specialists working in the area of health services adaptation and resilience in response to extreme weather events caused by climate change. NIHR’s RIGHT Call 5 - global health research call on climate change and health services now open

The NIHR Research and Innovation for Global Health Transformation (RIGHT) Call 5 is open to applicants from LMICs and the UK to work on applied health research that can strengthen health service delivery and resilience in LMICs in the context of extreme weather events caused by the changing climate. Applications close on 29 June, and an information webinar will be held on 27 April - find out more and register.

We are also seeking applied global health researchers and community engagement and involvement specialists to join the RIGHT 5 funding committee - find out more and apply.
