Hi Dada Rael Kukule Akoru!
Great my sister for opening up without feeling ashamed of sharing "the truth you know" so that others may be set free from all sorts of spiritual, intellectual and vocational bondages enslaving them needlessly merely due
to lack of knowledge like this one you are sharing with us. [ https://www.hifa.org/dgroups-rss/menstruation ]
In fact, what you have shared concur neatly with what Dr. Ben Carson, M. D., the most renowned Black American neurologist, emphatically put very clear through the following extract:
“All knowledge is important – a fact that some people do not want to hear. One of the wonderful things about learning is that knowledge not only translates from one area to another but is also an avenue that leads to
understanding and insight." (Carson with Murphey, 1992:211)
Likewise, this is why, I personally strongly support the introduction of a Master's in Religion and Public Life (MRPL) by the Harvard Divinity School in the US in that such a degree is likely to play a pivotal role in framing mindsets of most of us, especially in most controversial matters not only like this one you are talking about, but also abusive relationships in most households and among interdenominational co - workers engaged as a team in health promotion interventions, etc.
