Our Side Event seeks to motivate the patient community and other healthcare stakeholders to unite in advancing the patient partnership agenda. By highlighting instances where small-scale changes initiated by patient organizations globally have had significant system-level impacts, we aim to demonstrate the potential for collective action to drive meaningful progress.

This event also aims to inspire the patient community and other health stakeholders to join forces and garner political endorsement for the draft resolution on social participation for universal health coverage, health and well-being [https://apps.who.int/gb/ebwha/pdf_files/EB154/B154_CONF10-en.pdf], thereby augmenting its prospects for adoption by Member States at WHA77.

Speaking about the resolution, UHC2030 [https://www.uhc2030.org/] is coordinating a campaign to showcase countries and leaders championing social participation to inspire others to promote participatory governance in their health systems.
