Please take a look at Fig 2 and Tab 4.

Even in high-income countries such as Japan, the infant mortality rate of economically vulnerable families is hugely higher than more affluent groups.

So, health disparities are a severe issue in Japan.

Social paediatricians have to play an essential role in it.
