Vania Wisdom

Vania Wisdom is an Executive Editor at The Lancet, based in London, UK. She leads the oncology strategy as the Oncology Ambassador for the journal. Before joining The Lancet, she had a 14-year career as a scientific researcher in oncology which terminated with a lectureship position at the cancer research institute at University College of London. During her research career she developed a strong academic research background in oncology in the UK, Germany and Portugal. She was awarded a PhD in cancer immunology in 2006 by the Medical University-Charite, Berlin.
