Shobhana (Shobi) Nagraj is an academic Primary Care Physician, with a professional background in Paediatric Surgery and Medical Education. Shobi has worked extensively with Community Health Workers in rural India in the fields of global maternal child health and affordable technologies. She has received a prestigious MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship to complete her DPhil in this area, at the George Institute for Global Health, Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health, University of Oxford. Shobi is also part of the LIFE Saving Instructions for Emergencies (LIFE) group at the University of Oxford, which uses virtual reality and smartphone games in the training healthcare workers in newborn resuscitation in low-resource settings in Kenya.
