
Paraminder Dhillon is currently Senior Editor at The Lancet Global Health, where she works closely with authors, reviewers, and colleagues across The Lancet Group to publish high-quality research in global health. Prior to joining The Lancet Global Health in 2024, she held managerial positions at PLOS ONE and The FEBS Journal, as well as scientific editor positions at Disease Models & Mechanisms and Genome Medicine. She has more than a decade of experience in scientific publishing, having embarked on the career shortly have obtaining her PhD in Pathology from the University of Cambridge. She also has a BSc degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Nottingham. While she handles manuscripts across a variety of research areas, she is particularly interested in infectious diseases, child and adolescent health, and racial and ethnic inequities in health. She is also keen to contribute to HIFA’s mission of making reliable healthcare information accessible to everyone, everywhere.
