Emily Vargas is currently a Professor at Autónoma Universidad de Yucatán in Mexico; and an associate founder at Higea Foundation a non-profit organization. She has dedicated an important part of her professional career to knowledge management, systematic thinking, health research, and knowledge translation to create sustainable changes in policies and communities in LATAM, with special enfaces in Colombia (where is she from) and Mexico.
