Crisis Informatics
Chris Hagar is a Crisis Informatics consultant, based in the UK. She was formerly Associate Professor at the School of Information, San Jose State University, USA. She holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. She is an Affiliate of the Disaster & Development Network, Northumbria University, UK. Dr. Hagar's interests include: information needs and information seeking in crises and disasters; disaster health information; digital humanitarian agencies, and roles for information professionals in crisis and disaster preparedness and response.
