Chidindu Mmadu-Okoli is a graduate of medical laboratory science from the University of Nigeria Nsukka with interests in health communications and journalism. Her combined experience spans across medical laboratory practice, quality management, health content and social media strategy, inbound marketing, health writing/journalism, amongst others. She has worked to create health education and health promotion materials for in-house and external (donor-funded) projects that cater to people with regular or chronic health needs. She is also a 2019 #PreventEpidemicsNaija Health Journalism Fellow at Nigeria Health Watch, a 2019 Science Communications Fellow at the African Science Literacy Network, a 2021 Mentee of the Solutions Journalism Network, an author, TEDx Speaker, and a member of the Society for Health Communications, USA. She aspires to be a go-to-communicator for health and other related causes.
