HIFA in collaboration with Your Health Matters Ghana (YHMG) created an awareness day in Ghana on the 10th of March, 2017 at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra, Ghana. 

The event was well patronized by stakeholders in the health sector including medical doctors, nurses, health professionals, administrators, corporate organizations, medical and nursing students as well as a significant number of the general public. 

There were lectures on diabetes, hypertension, prostate education and general healthcare information delivery. 

On the 18th of May at 13:00 GMT, CHIFA will be holding a webinar on Children’s Participation in Action and Learning for Nutrition (PCAAN), a program run by Children for Health in partnership with the Government of Mozambique. This event is free.

In Mozambique, the dreadful facts are that in some districts, 44% of all children under 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition. This limits the potential of these children and makes them more prone to disease.
