Emergency Care Trainers

'Emergency Care Trainers was founded and established to provide emergency health education and training to all healthcare providers and the general public. We provide a platform through which participants acquire the necessary skills required to save lives. Our emergency short courses aim at providing science-based treatment that are within the international guidelines. We have trained over 3,000 healthcare professionals in various emergency care short courses.

HIFA continues our collaboration with WHO, Health Systems Global (CHW Thematic Working Group) and other key organisations (icddr,b) on a series of three major HIFA thematic discussions on CHWs. These discussions are supporting the dissemination and uptake of the WHO Guideline on health policy and system support to optimize community health worker programmes (CHW Guideline), launched in October 2018.
