Will you become a HIFA personal donor today? (8) Vikram Patel

7 May, 2026

Dear HIFA colleagues,

I would like to thank HIFA member Professor Vikram Patel for his latest donation to HIFA. This is on top of his ongoing sponsorship of the HIFA zoom facility.

Vikram Patel is Paul Farmer Professor and Chair of Global Health and Social Medicine in the Blavatnik Institute's Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He co-leads the Department’s Mental Health for All lab and co-leads the GlobalMentalHealth@Harvard initiative. His work has focused on the burden of mental health problems across the life course, their association with social disadvantage, and the use of community resources for their prevention and treatment. https://ghsm.hms.harvard.edu/faculty-staff/vikram-patel

We invite other HIFA members to donate £5, £10 or £20 a month - this will make a big difference for HIFA's sustainability.
