The Health for All Film Festival

Join the movement for health impact through film!

4th edition in 2023: New call for short films from 31 October 2022 to 31 January 2023

Films are a powerful way to raise awareness, improve understanding and encourage positive behaviour changes, that’s why the Health for All Film Festival (HAFF) recruits year after year a new generation of film and video innovators to champion and promote health issues...

The Health for All Film Festival (HAFF) invites independent filmmakers, production companies, public institutions, NGOs, communities, health professionals, scientists, students, and film schools from around the world to submit their original short films on health.

Since 2020, we’ve gathered 3500 submissions from 110 countries, and we hope to add another 1000 through our 4th edition. With about 70 short films selected every year by WHO staff from the larger set of submissions, our official selection represents a useful catalogue for health education and for more local actions to raise better health awareness all around the world. By March 2023, this catalogue would propose almost 250 titles. Watch also some of our ”Films for health impact” tools containing the interventions of health experts inspired by our winning films.
