UK Government consultation: ‘Change NHS: help build a health service fit for the future’

22 October, 2024

Dear Neil,

There may be some members of the public, health and care professionals, and organisations in the UK interested in the UK NHS (National Health Service) that may have missed the news that the UK Government has launched a national consultation called ‘Change NHS: help build a health service fit for the future’.

The gov.uk website say that this will help the UK government develop a 10 Year Health Plan:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/change-nhs-help-build-a-healt...

The website for this Change NHS consultation is: https://change.nhs.uk/en-GB/

The website encourages the public, the NHS workforce and other organisations to share their experiences.

The public can share their responses here: https://change.nhs.uk/en-GB/folders/organisations

Health and care professionals can share their responses here: https://change.nhs.uk/en-GB/projects/your-experiences-workforce

Organisations can share their responses here: https://change.nhs.uk/en-GB/folders/organisations

This may an opportunity to raise the importance of access to reliable healthcare information and/or other issues that HIFA members or the organizations that they work for may wish to highlight.

To me, this seems an opportunity to help improve the NHS that is not to be missed.

Best wishes

Julie
