Did you know that skin diseases are the world’s third most prevalent cause of illness and are in the top 10 causes of disability? They are also one of the most common reasons that people seek help from health workers.
This event seeks to build awareness among member states and other key stakeholders about the burden, impact and cost of skin diseases both on individuals and public health systems.
Our collective goal is to advocate for greater prioritization of skin diseases on the policy agenda and strive towards achieving a comprehensive resolution addressing all skin diseases at the World Health Assembly in 2025.
Join us for this timely and vital initiative aimed at promoting better understanding, support and action on behalf of those affected by skin diseases worldwide.
