Quality health care for children (12)

13 July, 2021

Dear CHIFA colleagues

The quality of patient care is essentially determined by the quality infrastructure, training, competence of personal and efficiency of operational systems and the fundamental requirement is adoption of a system that is "patient oriented"

For a national commitment to these requires

1. Substantial resources mobilization to health care sector starting from grass roots level to specialized tertiary care centers

2. Motivation of health care professionals by some form of rewards

3. Recognition of the efforts done

In this context I would like to raise a thought to know about what is needed or done by the health system leaders to maintain quality essential health services during this current COVID-19 pandemic?
