Improving health care quality requires systematic action at the national level. Setting national strategic direction on quality, through a defined national quality policy and strategy (NQPS), is central to systematically improving quality across all levels of the health system and achieving the desired improvements in health outcomes. Several countries have embarked on this journey.
Join us as we hear from Malaysia and Namibia, two countries that have recently launched their national quality policies and strategies. Speakers from the two countries will share perspectives on their NQPS journey, detailing lessons learnt and challenges faced. The session will include interactive solutions generation with the virtual audience focused on the challenges shared by countries.
This webinar is the first in the series of WHO Global Quality Rounds. We hope that these Quality Rounds will provide a virtual forum to allow individuals from across the world to connect and share experiences on quality of care, challenge each other and spark possible solutions to shared challenges.
