Open Pharma [ https://www.openpharma.blog/ ] is a multi-sponsor collaboration facilitated by Oxford PharmaGenesis [ https://www.pharmagenesis.com/ ] that aims to drive transparency in research communication.
HIFA is assisting Oxford PharmaGenesis to publicise this survey to capture healthcare professionals’ experiences of open access publishing: https://forms.office.com/e/ngCA1StkPx
Later this year HIFA is planning a thematic discussion on open access publishing, sponsored by Oxford Pharmagenesis. The discussion will draw on the findings of the survey and explore issues relating to open access in depth. HIFA’s role is to provide an independent, neutral platform to explore perspectives on this important topic.
Here is the announcement from Oxford PharmaGenesis:

Open Pharma is excited to launch a new survey to research healthcare professionals’ experiences of open access publishing.
Please share your experience with us here: https://forms.office.com/e/ngCA1StkPx
To help us understand your views on open access publishing (i.e. how you find and use research articles available at no cost to the reader), we invite you to participate in this short (maximum 10-minute) survey.
This survey is intended for healthcare professionals only.
Insights from this survey will be used to inform the medical publishing community about the perspectives of healthcare professionals on open access publishing and to inform improvements in publishing practices.
Data collection is anonymous; respondents will not be identifiable. We will disseminate the survey findings at a future congress for publication professionals.
Please share your experience with us here: https://forms.office.com/e/ngCA1StkPx
This survey closes on Monday 16 June 2025.
Privacy notice: Data collected under this survey will be processed in accordance with Oxford PharmaGenesis’ privacy policy (https://www.pharmagenesis.com/privacy-and-security).
Please contact OxfordProject@pharmagenesis.com if you have any concerns or questions.
