Registration is now open to enroll in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH) Summer Institute course, “Knowledge to Impact: Managing Learning in Global Health Programs.”

This acclaimed 3-credit course, taught by Dr. Tara M. Sullivan and Ms. Sara Mazursky, is offered through the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Department of Health, Behavior, and Society Summer Institute.

Course Dates: June 1 - June 5, 2026

Location: Online 8 am-1 pm EST

Course Description:

Managing and maximizing knowledge and fostering continuous learning are development imperatives in global health programs. Global health programs operate with scarce resources, high stakes, and urgent needs for coordination among partners and donors. Knowledge management (KM) addresses these challenges.

Upon successful completion of this 3-credit course, students will be able to:

Explain KM’s role in enhancing organizational performance and improving global health outcomes

Apply KM to global health programs using a five-step systematic process

Identify the best KM approaches to use in a given public health context

This is a 3-credit course. The summer institute rates for credit/non-credit are below.

For credit rate: $1,458/credit.
