NIHR Global Health Research Development Awards Funding Committee Chair
We are looking for a LMIC-based research leader to Chair the funding committee for a new award, the Global Health Research (GHR) Development Award.
The NIHR GHR Development Award provides funding to increase the competitiveness of global health research applications led by researchers based in ODA-eligible countries.
We are seeking people who are passionate about engaging and developing future researchers/research leaders within the global health and social care landscape.

New NIHR Award - Global Advanced Fellowship
The Global Advanced Fellowship a new award for postdoctoral global health researchers.
This £750,000 award will fund research projects, training and development and institutional capacity strengthening. The programme funds researchers undertaking research that aims to specifically and primarily benefit people in LMICs eligible for ODA.
The Global Advanced Fellowship will open for applications on 16 April 2024.If you are interested in applying for the scheme, please fill out an expression of interest form.
