Risk communication and community engagement readiness and response toolkits: yellow fever & mpox

These toolkits provide a comprehensive set of practical tools and resources designed to support country-level risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) practitioners, decision-makers, and partners to plan and implement readiness and response activities for yellow fever and mpox outbreaks, respectively.

These two are part of a suite of toolkits on RCCE readiness and response to a range of disease and response areas.

Community conversation kit: everyday conversations to protect community health against infectious disease

The Community Conversation Kit (CCK) is designed to help people who have a leadership role speak with people in their community about how to protect themselves and those they care about from becoming ill with an infectious disease. The kit will help lead conversations that get people talking with each other and thinking differently about their health so they can take action.

Use of behavioural and cultural insights in 2021 –2022 in the WHO European Region: status report (WHO EURO)

In September 2022 Member States of the WHO European Region acknowledged the importance of behaviour and its cultural context for health in adopting a regional resolution on behavioural and cultural insights (‎BCI)‎ for equitable health and an action framework. This first status report presents the activities for 2021–2022 of public health authorities (‎PHAs)‎ in 48

WHO EURO brochures on risk communication, community engagement and infodemic management (WHO EURO)

Risk communication, community engagement and infodemic management in Ukraine’s emergency response: lifesaving interventions in crisis and beyond: Warsaw, Poland 14–16 November 2023: meeting report (WHO EURO)

This RCCE-IM meeting was held in Warsaw, Poland on 14–16 November 2023.

Participants shared, reflected upon, and documented the wealth of knowledge and experience gained during the Ukraine emergency response, as well as strategizing on the subsequent phases of the RCCE-IM response to the emergency.
