This is to draw the attention of HIFA members to a new Africa Climate & Health Alliance (ACHA). Dr Raymond Ruyoka, ACHA Regional Director, writes:
"In a bid to build the capacity of Health and environment professionals and stakeholders,ACHA in collaboration with Action for Health and other partners is establishing the AFRICA CENTRE FOR CLIMATE & HEALTH CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT based in Kampala,Uganda."
ACHA is looking for partnerships with like-minded stakeholders to establish the training centre in Uganda - the first of its kind in Africa, with a training curriculum of 12 short courses developed by experts from universities and professional bodies in Africa and beyond.
