mHEALTH-INNOVATE (54) Q4. Can you give any examples of informal use of mobile phones by health workers?

1 May, 2022

Dear HIFA colleagues,

Thank you for all your messages to date. You can review these on our RSS feed: https://www.hifa.org/rss-feeds/17

We are now entering our 4th and final week of our thematic discussion on the informal use of mobile phones by health workers. Here are two questions to guide us:

Q4. Can you give any examples of informal use of mobile phones by health workers? (ie uses of mobile phones that have not been directed by the employer, but have been initiated, adapted or developed by health workers themselves)

Q5. How can the informal use of mobile phones be improved to strengthen healthcare?

Please send your thoughts/experience/observations by email to: hifa@hifaforums.org

All messages will be synthesised to create a document that will support future efforts to improve the use of mobile phones by health workers.

With thanks, Neil

Joint Coordinator, HIFA mHEALTH-INNOVATE
