This is a good approach, moving from a political centered health care service to patient centered approach is key. This is where community engagement versus community involvement meet the road. For a long time, service providers have been doing community involvement approaches, where issues are determined at program level, communities are just called for a meeting or seminar, to rubber stamp what has already been discussed and concluded, it was just a formal information dissemination process.
Community engage approach will ensure communities bring out what they need and come up with implementation strategy, it serves as a reverse roles method
