The Lucian Leape Patient Safety Fellowship Award 2024

Hello HIFA, The Lucian Leape Patient Safety Fellowship Award, established in 2018, supports physicians and healthcare leaders in developing countries to enhance their expertise in patient safety. Managed by ISQua and funded by the Lucian Leape Foundation, this program aims to provide fellows with additional training in patient safety science and interventions. Eligible candidates, physicians or healthcare providers from low or lower-middle-income countries who have completed their clinical training or equivalent, can enroll in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) 2-year Master's Degree in Quality and Safety in Healthcare Management or an equivalent course, with a maximum cost of €13,000 [13,000 Euros]. Additional training and conference attendance opportunities may also be available. The programme content is tailored to the professional interests and existing work commitments of the fellow. No salary is associated with this award.

The closing date for applications is 15th March 2024.
