Dear Neil
Thanks for the Sepsis information and ideas about recognising it early.
On a personal note, my brother died recently of clinical sepsis, which was recognised and diagnosed very late and he died shortly after being admitted to hospital. He was visiting a LMIC country in the Pacific, but it hadn't been detected before he left Australia either.
So, I believe we need a greater awareness of clinical sepsis within all of our communities, even affluent first world nations, with a focus on early diagnosis.
