June 5th and 6th hybrid community event

A number of patient access to record patients and professionals are putting on a hybrid two day workshop in Glossop, North Derbyshire on June 5th and 6th. The day is designed to be informative, entertaining and educational with patient stories, references to the WHO One Health, and to the WHO Patient Safety Charter. The workshop is very much in response to the discussion about patient's ownership of their health records at the WHO Patient Safety Charter workshop inSeptember 2023 - can patients even own their medical records?

The workshop will also address a changing culture of healthcare in which patients are becoming partners and not passive recipients of care. and mobile and ehealth. Dr Amir Hannan will cover the important implementation of patient access to records in the practice of mass murderer GP Dr Harold Shipman which Dr Hannan bravely took over after the

criminal conviction and arrest was completed.
