This July is the 23rd International Group B Strep Awareness Month. According to the World Health Organization, "The global burden of Group B streptococcus is far higher than previously recognized, linked to over half a million preterm births annually, and leading to nearly 100,000 newborn deaths, at least 46,000 stillbirths, and significant long-term disability.” Please check out our July awareness toolkit at gbsi.me/gbsam <https://www.groupbstrepinternational.org/july_gbs_awareness_month.html> to help you share GBS information to help protect babies from group B strep disease.
