Dear HIFA Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I am pleased to share with you an article reflecting on the development of health information systems and digital health in Yemen over the period 2021–2026. [*see note below]
The article describes the progress made in strengthening health information systems, expanding digital platforms, developing governance and institutional frameworks, advancing digital health and telehealth, investing in capacity building, and strengthening Yemen’s engagement with the global digital health community. It also reflects on the remaining challenges, particularly integration, sustainability, infrastructure, data quality, cybersecurity, and national ownership.
I would be grateful if HIFA could consider sharing the article with its community and, where appropriate, consider it for publication on the HIFA platform.
I would also welcome any editorial comments or suggestions you may have.
With best regards,
Dr Ahmed Naser Al-Saeedi
Director General of Health Information and Research
