He also claimed that the company made a distinct mark on Washington’s opioid crisis by deceiving doctors and the public about the effectiveness of opioids for chronic pain and the risk of addiction.'
COMMENT (NPW): While the pharmaceutical industry is of course essential, it is unfortunately riddled with deliberate misinformation. For this reason, in practice HIFA does not accept sponsorship from the pharmaceutical industry.
