Join us online on Tuesday 10 June 2025 for the CILIP Health Libraries Group annual general meeting. Following the official AGM proceedings, we will be joined by Sheena Campbell (Communications Manager, Patient Information Forum) where she will give an overview of the work of the Patient Information Forum (PIF) and its relevance to us as health libraries and information professionals. Please join us for this CPD session (starting at 1:20pm) to hear more about the fabulous work that PIF are doing including:
* PIF and Ipsos documentary on the impact of misinformation
* summary of findings from the Knowledge is Power project which focused on inequalities in access to health information
* the impact of Google AI summaries on trusted information and what librarians can do
* PIF's co-production project with public and NHS library staff to improve the PIF TICK information certification.
Sheena Campbell is Communications Manager at the Patient Information Forum (PIF). PIF is the membership network for cross-sector health information producers. It also runs the PIF TICK – the only independently assessed trust mark for print and digital health information. Sheena delivers training and edits guidance on topics including plain language, health literacy and risk and benefit communication.

Our strength is our diverse and active membership covering all health and social sectors, and geographical areas in the UK.
