HIFA survey: Urgent: HIFA needs your support

7 September, 2023

Dear HIFA colleagues,

Thank you to everyone who has already completed our 5-minute global survey on universal access to reliable healthcare information. We already have more than 800 responses. The more respondents, the stronger the case for universal access to reliable healthcare information. Add your voice and spread the word! www.hifa.org/survey2023

This message is to invite organisations and individuals to demonstrate your support for this vital consultation. We urgently need NEW funding to cover the costs of the consultation, which include not only this survey (planning, implementation, translation, interpretation, WHO report writing) but also thematic discussion on the HIFA forums in four languages and key informant interviews. The consultation has required careful planning since September 2022. All of this takes time and resources. The total cost is £12k. To date we have secured £5k: two lead sponsors @£2k and four bronze sponsors @£100. We are grateful to HIFA members Vikram Patel and Geoff Royston who have made personal donations to the project. But we remain *way* under budget.

Can you help? If you are making a donation on behalf of your organisation, please note we have four suggested levels of sponsorship: bronze (£100), silver (£500), gold (£1000), platinum (£2000).

If you are able to make a personal donation, you can do so securely through our fundraising platform below. No amount is too small.

You may choose to have your name (or organisation) recognised or remain anonymous.
