Dear Xavier and all,
You asked "When is the deadline to propose projects?"
You may submit a proposal for a HIFA Project at any time. We can accommodate up to six Projects per year and Projects are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The centrepiece for each Project is a 4-5-week in-depth thematic discussion on the HIFA forums, implemented by a working group that includes representatives of the sponsor and HIFA volunteers with an interst in the topic. These discussions are carefully planned for maximum sharing of experience and expertise among our 20,000 members in 180 countries.
As soon as a HIFA Project is agreed with the sponsor, we shall allocate the Project to a 4-5-week period in our calendar for 2025, which will then be fully reserved for that Project. We only ever have one thematic discussion taking place at one time, thereby ensuring maximum focus for HIFA members.
There is an advantage to propose a Project sooner rather than later, as early sponsors will have more choice on when we can schedule the thematic discussion.
For more information, and testimonials from current sponsors, see www.hifa.org/projects
We look forward to your proposals and are ready to discuss any ideas you may have. Email: neil@hifa.org
With thanks, Neil
