From Voices to Action:
Patient Organisations Shaping Health System Transformation
We’re thrilled to be gearing up for the 11th Global Patients Congress [https://www.iapo.org.uk/global-patients-congress] (GPC 2025), our most impactful gathering yet. In collaboration with Psoriasis Philippines, we’ll unite voices from across the globe including patients, advocates, decision-makers, and partners, to spark real change in healthcare systems.
With an exciting programme of sessions set to take place in Manila, we’re excited to spotlight one of the events we're most looking forward to.
Why this session is not to be missed:
We’re so excited to be hosting IAPO's first-ever Hackathon - an energising, hands-on workshop designed to bring together a wide range of perspectives to tackle challenges and spark fresh ideas.
Taking place in two parts across GPC 2025, this creative session will challenge the barriers that prevent patients and people with lived experience from having a real voice in health decisions. Together, we’ll explore bold, practical ways to address them.
GPC 2025 participants will have the chance to collaborate creatively, brainstorm practical solutions, and reimagine participation in health that moves beyond tokenism – and becomes truly transformative.
We’ll celebrate the most impactful ideas with an award for the best solution - we can’t wait to see what we’ll create together.
