Dear Colleagues,

Please see the announcement below on the consultation for the second edition of the WHO Pocket Book of Hospital Care for Children. The online survey link to provide feedback can be found here, also linked below. The deadline to complete the survey is 28 March.

The Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health, and Ageing (MCA) in WHO has begun the process to update the WHO Pocket book of hospital care for children: Second edition Guidelines for the management of common childhood illnesses. To better guide the process and ensure that the updates and revisions are relevant and match the needs of the end users: health care workers, trainers, students, programme managers and policy advisers at the MoH and partner organizations, we are running a short survey for users of the Pocket Book.

We would appreciate your assistance in completing the survey and forwarding it to all people who you think might be able to provide valuable inputs. The link for accessing the survey is https://extranet.who.int/dataformv3/index.php/982365?lang=en The survey is for all stakeholders who use the book.

We plan on closing the survey on the 28th of March so will appreciate if you can share widely to all interested parties. Please do get back to Dr Nuhu Yaqub Jr. yaqubn@who.int; if you have any questions regarding the survey, thank you.

With kind regards,

Nuhu
