Subject: SAVE THE DATE: African Alliance for Maternal Mental Health Webinar and Annual General Meeting, 29 November 2023

Greetings from the African Alliance for Maternal Mental Health (AAMMH)!

AAMMH (www.aammh.org) is an umbrella organization supporting the formation of alliances of organizations in Africa to promote the mental well-being of mothers. The challenges that can affect the mental well-being of mother and baby in Africa are cross-cutting and so require a multi-disciplinary approach. That is why AAMMH encourages organizations in fields of maternal and child health, nutrition, gender-based violence, women’s rights and other sectors to come together in the form of alliances to raise awareness of country specific challenges in advancing good maternal mental health.

You are invited to AAMMH’s webinar in collaboration with MAMI Global Network titled, "Opportunities and challenges arising from the integration of maternal mental health into a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) service in Ethiopia" by Dr Mubarek Abera, Jimma University, Ethiopia.

This webinar will be followed by the Annual General Meeting of AAMMH. This will be an important opportunity to learn about the work of AAMMH and network with organizations working in African countries to promote good maternal mental health.

The 1.5 hour event will take place on Zoom starting at 1pm CAT/ 12pm WAT/ 2pm EAT/ 11 am GMT
