Final Reflections Report Independent Accountability Panel for EWEC

Dear colleagues,

We would like to bring to your attention the final reflections report of the Independent Accountability Panel for Every Woman, Every Child and EveryAdolescent. The report brings to an end the 5year mandate of the IAP

The report The Health of Women, Children and Adolescents is at the Heart o fTransforming our World: Empowering Accountability has been submitted to her request, to the Deputy Secretary General of the UN.

It reviews key lessons learned on accountability and proposes the framework for continued accountability to women, children and adolescents, and those left behind especially in the context of Covid-19 moving forward to the SDGs.

CHIFA profile: Elizabeth Mason is former Director of the Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MCA) in WHO. She is interested in how to provide quality health services for women and children, and how to extend the health system into the community. She spent 24 years living and working in Zimbabwe, and worked across many countries of the African Region.
