An overwhelming 92% of physicians say disconnected health systems (such as the inability to easily share patient records, test results, or clinical notes) affect their ability to provide care at least sometimes...

Almost half of physicians (48%) report having seen a patient experience serious adverse health consequences including disease progression or missed diagnoses as a result of disconnected systems...

The survey finds that 97% of physicians have had to intervene to prevent harm or address consequences after a patient followed false or misleading health information found online, including AI-generated advice.

34% say this happens often; 45% say sometimes
