I found this finding particularly interesting:
"The research team also reported enhanced relationships between health-care workers and patients and improved communication resulting from less formal interactions."
In my opinion improved communication between service providers and recipients of the service creates a great foundation for "Holistic Patient Centred Care". When both parties can communicate on their expectations- it adds value to health service delivery and patient needs are more easily met.
It is fundamental that Risk Communication and Community engagement of all stakeholders be strengthened so that we can increase the impact of public health interventions.
